The VIN plate fitted may display incorrect load rating and tyre specifications. The incorrect information on the VIN plate might result in inappropriate tyres to be fitted. If fitted with inappropriate tyres, and the caravan is loaded to the specifications on the VIN plate this may result in the failure of the tyre. Affected caravans will require the replacement of the VIN plate and inspection and/or replacement of all three tyres (including spare).
