What are the defects?
Due to a manufacturing defect, the High-Pressure Fuel Pump could fail prematurely and introduce failed component debris into the fuel system. This could impair the fuel supply to the engine and result in a loss of power whilst driving.

What are the hazards?
A loss of power while driving could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and bystanders.

What should consumers do?
Owners of affected vehicles are advised that parts are currently not available.

FCA Australia will contact owners when parts are available. Once the follow-up notice is received, owners can contact any authorised Jeep dealership to arrange the repair. This repair is free of charge.

Dometic (Seastar) Steering Cable installed in boats with mechanical steering systems.

Affected models are:

b) rack steering (SSC124, SSC134, SSCX154, SS141 and SS151)
c) kicker cables (433).

To find out if your steering cable is affected, check the engine end of the cable for the stamp with the product information. Affected products are within YEAR “22” and between DAY range 116 to 231 ONLY

What are the defects?
The retaining nut that is designed to prevent the boat’s steering cable from detaching from the boat’s engine may fail.

What are the hazards?
If the retaining nut fails, this could lead to a loss of steering control of the boat. Steering loss may cause an accident, resulting in death or injury to the boat occupants or bystanders.

What should consumers do?
Consumers should contact the dealer who they bought the boat from to arrange for inspection and replacement of the cable if required, free of charge.  Consumers should not use the boat until it has been checked and, if required, the steering cable is replaced.

What are the defects?
Due to a manufacturing defect, a damaged front seat belt pre-tensioner tube may have been installed on the seat belt retractor. As a result the seat belt pre-tensioner may not operate as intended.

What are the hazards?
In the event of an accident, if the seat belt pre-tensioner does not operate as intended it may increase the risk of injury or, in the case of a serious accident increase the risk of death to vehicle occupants.

What should consumers do?

Owners will be notified and instructed to take their vehicle to an approved Jaguar Land Rover repairer to have the work carried out as soon as possible, free of charge.

1. Cookers manufactured on or after 1 June 2020 are not affected by this recall:
(a) Consumers can use these gas cookers as per the instructions for use that were provided with the appliance.

2. Cookers manufactured between 1 January 2019 and 31 May 2020 (inclusive) have been recalled:
(a) Consumers must ensure that the front left burner control knob is in the off position and should remove the knob and store it out of reach of children and other users.
(b) DO NOT USE the front hotplate left burner.
(c) Further updates will be provided regarding the remedial process for cookers under recall.

3. Cookers manufactured before 1 January 2019 are currently under investigation by the supplier:
(a) Consumers must ensure that the front left burner control knob is in the off position and should remove the knob and store it out of reach of children and other users until further notice.
(b) DO NOT USE the front hotplate left burner.

To identify affected appliances, open the glass lid and check the model number on the data plate that is located on the inside front left side of the lid. The gas exhaust unit may not have been fitted the required minimum 300mm distance from a combustion air intake, flue terminal ventilator, opening port, hatch or window to minimise fumes re-entering the caravan.

When operating components powered by gas in the enclosed area of the caravan, carbon monoxide may re-enter the vehicle and present a risk of poisoning, which could cause serious illness, injury or death.

HOW TO CHECK IF YOU ARE AFFECTED:
- Measure from the peripheral of the gas exhaust to the nearest section of a combustion air intake, another flue terminal ventilator, opening port, hatch, or window, as shown in the diagram in Attachment A.
- Measurement must be a minimum of 300mm.
- Take a photo showing measurement including the tape measure in the image and email at [email protected] for verification by our Service Team.

The roof hatch fitted for additional ventilation may not meet the Gas installation standard that requires caravans are fitted with a roof hatch with permanent ventilation. The roof hatches that are installed in affected units do not have a permanent ventilation feature. If the roof hatch permanently closed in the event of an LPG gas leak, gas may accumulate within the caravan and may present a risk of poisoning or a fire, which could cause serious illness, injury or death.

Due to poor stiffness of the rear licence plate bracket around the single mounting point, there is a possibility this may lead to cracking as a result of metal fatigue caused by vibration when driving on a rough (corrugated) roads. In this condition, the licence plate lamp wiring may sever, and the licence plate may dislodge from the vehicle.

The Occupancy Detection Sensor System (ODS) may not have been installed in the front passenger seat. The internal bracing upper mounts for the Genuine Isuzu Canopy Roof Rack may not meet the manufacturing specifications, should the mount become loose or detached it could result in damage to the canopy shell if remained undetected. If the roof rack becomes loose or detached while loaded this could result in the load being lost. Additionally, in the event of an accident the roof rack may detach increasing the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

Owners should make an appointment with an authorised Isuzu UTE dealer. The dealer will check and verify the installation of the Canopy Roof Rack system and if the fitted product is found to be defective then a full replacement will be provided free of charge.
It is highly recommended to not use the Canopy Roof Rack until it has been inspected by local Isuzu UTE Dealer.

The VIN plate fitted may display incorrect load rating and tyre specifications. The incorrect information on the VIN plate might result in inappropriate tyres to be fitted. If fitted with inappropriate tyres, and the caravan is loaded to the specifications on the VIN plate this may result in the failure of the tyre. This increases the risk of an accident resulting in injury or death to the occupants of the tow vehicle or other road users.

Affected caravans will require the replacement of the VIN plate and inspection and/or replacement of all three tyres (including spare).

Due to a manufacturing issue, the park brake lever may fracture and fail. If this occurs whilst applying the park brake the parking brake may not engage, this could result in unintended vehicle movement.
