CIAVIC has the Key

31/08/2015

The Caravan Industry Association Victoria (CIA Vic)  will launch the initial  stage of its  first ever industry accreditation program’ Service Safe’  to keep consumer caravan’s and RV's serviced and repaired to the highest standards.

The first stage of the program will see members of the association commit to implementing the Service Safe Standards in a provisional period leading up to full accreditation in July 2016. The program will require participating members to implement both business and workshop standards along with having their staff trained and qualified.
The program branding symbol is the industries accreditation key which will be displayed by participating businesses through both the provisional year and when fully accredited. Consumers will come to trust the key as it represents outstanding customer service and excellence within the caravan service and repair sector, eventually the program will roll out nationally.

As the caravan industry is changing, so has the consumer, Chief Executive Rob Lucas said
"participating members not only need to abide by higher industry standards, but to be better equipped, trained and deliver superior levels of customer service.”

With a strong and growing market CIA Vic has decided to raise industry standards and make CIA Vic service and repair members standout from the rest.
" every year participating members will be audited to ensure they are complying to the standards the industry has set and expect of them, if a member should not meet the standards they will not be re accredited" Rob Lucas, Chief Executive said.

The Caravan Industry Association Victoria are ensuring the caravan industry, with its continued growth and success in Victoria progresses well into the future and provides the consumer with  confidence they are travelling safely.
